Reproductive, Maternal and Neonatal Health Program



Vision – improve the quality of reproductive life of men, women and adolescents providing quality reproductive health services at all levels thereby contributing to the achievement of overall national goal of Gross National Happiness

Objectives

  1. To reduce U-5 mortality rate to 30 per 1000 live births by 2018
  2. To reduce IMR to <20 per 1000 live births by 2018
  3. To reduce MMR to <100 per 100000 live births by 2018
  4. To increase institutional delivery rate >70 by 2018
  5. To increase ANC coverage (of at least 4 visits) to 80 by 2018
  6. To increase contraceptive prevalence rate to 70 by 2018
  7. To increase percentage of women attending 1st PNC visit to 80 by 2018
  8. To increase percentage of women carrying out Pap smear screening to 70 by 2018
