Engagement of CSO/NGO

  1. To support the Ministry of Health (MOH) in addressing nutrition for children under five years, the Project Management and Policy Support Unit (PMPSU) of the ADB project will contract an experienced Non-governmental Organization (NGO) / Civil Society Organization (CSO) to work with poor and excluded communities in eight target districts. The selected NGO/ CSO is expected to leverage its own community networks and also strengthen existing local structures and community-based organizations to implement this activity. Strengthening local structures will facilitate in sustaining the activities beyond the end of the project.

  1. To support the Ministry of Health in addressing Domestic Violence (DV) and Gender Based Violence (GBV), the Project Management and Policy Support Unit (PMPSU) for the BHU Health Sector Development Program will contract an experienced Non-governmental Organization (NGO) / Civil Society Organization (CSO) to work in particular with poor and excluded communities in eight targeted districts to address the DV and GVB issues through advocacy and behavior change activities. The selected NGO/ CSO is expected to leverage its own community networks and also strengthen existing local structures and community-based organizations to implement this activity. Strengthening local structures will facilitate in sustaining the activities beyond the end of the project.
