Family planning is not just restriction of number of children but it has linked to all MDG goals and SDG goals. Therefore, RH Program with fund support from WHO conducted training of Health workers on revised family planning standard for western and central region . A total of 29 HA from central region from 23-25 October were trained and a total of 29 HA from western region were trained from 23-25 November,2017. The training for eastern region will begin from 4-6 December,2017.

As per the approved note sheet No. MoH/HR&EU/2017-18 dated 15th November 2017, HMIS Evaluation and Research Section (HERS) under the Policy and Planning Division, Ministry of Health, in collaboration with the Khesar Gyelpo University of Medical Sciences of Bhutan (KGUMSB) will be conducting ‘Structured Operational Research Workshop”. The training will be based on the SORT-IT (Structured Operational Research and Training Initiative) model and resources of operational research capacity building of The International Union against Tuberculosis and Lung Disease and MSF.
